4 H Donates $1000 to United Way Drive

         Representatives of the nine 4-H Clubs in Adair County recently held their annual Chicken Bingo fundraiser for the United Way of Northeast Missouri. Members raised $1,000 through the special event.

       “We are very grateful for the support that our 4 H clubs provide to our United Way,” Thomas said. “They represent our future leaders,” she added.
        Agencies supported by the United Way include the Adair County 4H Council, Adair County YMCA, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Hospice of Northeast Missouri, Community Opportunities/Sheltered Workshop, Salvation Army, Macon Diversified, KIRK-TRAN, Nemo Senior Citizen Services, and RSVP Senior Adult Services.
