The United Way of Northeast Missouri announced today that they will hold a Charity Poker Night featuring Texas Hold’em tournament at the Dukum Inn on December 9, 2021.
“We had such a successful Poker tournament this past May, the Board of Directors of the United Way decided to hold a second charity tournament this December,” said Chade Shorten, 2022 Campaign Chairman. She added that the same prize money of 1st Place $500, 2nd Place $250, and 3rd Place of $100 will again be the cash prizes. Additionally, the winner will take home a special Texas Hold’em Poker Trophy.
Prize sponsors of the event include Century 21, ATSU, Mid Rivers Insurance, Lovegreen Motors, Hampton Inn and the Dukum. All monies raised by the event will go toward the 2022 United Way Campaign to fund 11 not for profit agencies.
