The Wooden Nickel 4 Person Golf Tournament sets new record in money raised

The annual Wooden Nickel Golf tournament to benefit the United Way of Northeast Missouri raised a total of $16,150 which was a 155.5% increase over last year's tournament.

Thanks to Jen Vogt at the Wooden Nickel, thirty-five golf teams of four people each played in the tournament. Also the United Way obtained hole sponsorships from 44 businesses in the Kirksville Area.

Winners of the Champ Flight were 1st Place: Team Schempp, 2nd Alliant Bank, and Third Team Boyer. "A" flight winners included Break Thru Beverage at 1st place, Team Schneider 2nd, and Team Wagner 3rd. "B" Flight winners were Heritage House 1st Place, Century 21 2nd Place and 4 K Construction at 3rd.
